Kastel Luksic and Trogir Walking Tour

Trogir, another UNESCO site, is just an hour by speed boat from Hvar. But first will stop at Kastel Luksic, one of the seven pearls that make up a necklace of seafront villages between Split and Trogir - each protected by 14 - 16th castles. After our tour, it’s just 15 minutes to Trogir. Smaller, Greek, Medieval, Renaissance, Trogir is an astonishing architectural treasure that probably would attract millions if it was in Italy. It’s a fascinating bookend to Roman Split. The walking tour takes about an hour and a half and then we go for a rare culinary treat - “peka”! In Dalmatia peka is an art. An ancient way of slow cooking meat, chicken and vegetables inside an iron dome covered under and OVER it with wood coals and let to roast for 4 or 5 hours. The flavor is fabulous and with home made peka bread, wine from the owner’s uncle’s vineyard, sitting in the courtyard of a 13th C house you’ll be in heaven. Price including transfer to Trogir (speed boat), walking tour, peka lunch with wine and time to swim later on if you wish! Min. 4 adults for “peka” lunch, Min. 2 for fresh fish or other lunch with wine,. This program can also be done for people coming in by ship or catamaran from Hvar! But then we will deduct private speedboat, rate . Let us know, we adjustable to every inquiry.

Meeting point: Split harbour or Trogir - according to agreement set in advance. Details to be arranged when the tour is booked. If the meeting point is Trogir, Kastel Luksic is not included.

• 750 EUR for 4 people via private speedboat. Capacity of this boat is 8 people comfortably.
• From Hvar, via catamaran, 200 EUR for 4 people. Please ask us for the price for a larger group
